I’m a graphic and web designer in training who continually tries to challenge himself to create fresh new ideas. I’m currently going to Bristol Community College for my Associates in web design.
My Journey
Ever since I was a kid, you’d always see me attached to a computer screen. Whether it be creating something on Adobe Illustrator or editing a past project on Photoshop I love making things that could potentially last forever. It’s a major reason why I’m studying both graphic and web design.
On my journey to become a graphic designer, I went to Bristol Plymouth High School, where I could learn all about the job through the classes shop. I ran the copy machines, the collator, and even made posters, brochures, and business cards. In the graphic design shop, sometimes we would get jobs from people outside to work on. These people would get whatever they wanted done at a reduced cost due to us still being students. This system allowed me to get some real experience for the job.
Once I got into Bristol Community College, I decided to put my expertise into web design. I created the front page for a website about mythology, a blog about video game reviews, and a WordPress site for a tech company (all of which were made up by me). Because of these experiences, I’ve become very proficient in HTML, CSS, and WordPress sites.
